Medicinal bath of the Dao people

For many generations, the Dao people have been living on the hillsides, working in the fields far from their houses and reclaiming land as terraced fields to cultivate wet rice. Using local natural resources, the Dao people know how to combine different types of plants/herbs into rare and precious traditional medicine remedies. They bathe with herbs and leaves after a long working day to reduce aches and pains, or when the wind is cold to prevent sickness. Ask your homestay host to organize your own medicinal bath.
