We are 23 members of Can Ty cooperative linen since 2010. Usually our work time at the cooperative depending of the season of agriculture; the Handicraft become our secondary source of income the last 9 years. All women involved on cooperative have children and work hard to cover the decent living cost.
My Name is Giang Thi Say. 46 years old and I Have 1 son, 1 daughter.
My primary income is selling local wine from corn and I also received the money from cooperative for making handicraft. I have also small livestock farm.
My husband pass away since 2007. So I needed to rais my own child by myself.
My Name is Vu Thi Hang, 21 years old and I m pregnant.
I’m also a member of Can Ty cooperative where we produce our traditional H’Mong handcraft.
With my income I have to support I have to support 5 members on my family!
There is a possibility to attend some events in Hanoi like International women Bazaar but our production is too limited to attend this Bazaar!
I’m dreaming to have access to Hanoi market to represent H’Mong cultural handcraft!

My family don’t have regular income for all member. Last year my son got marriage and all of our saving used it for his wedding. We growth the corn for using food.
I don’t speake Vietnanmes either and I can speak only Hmong language,
my son is working in Hanoi and he sends 1-2 millions VND when we don’t have enough food to survive
