Detailed Itinerary
Depart from Hà Giang at 6 AM: destinations from Hà Giang City
- Check-in at km0 Hà Giang: a place with a special geographical position and many historical traces.
- Quản Bạ Rest Stop: a location featuring many materials introducing the landscapes and documents proving the geological changes of the Rock Plateau region. From here, there is an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of Tam Sơn Quản Bạ Town and the Twin Fairy Mountains.
- Thẩm Mã Slope: It is said that before the Happiness Road was built, this was a treacherous and steep pass, likened to a “thread” due to its narrowness and length. The path was so tough that even horses would pant heavily. The locals used to bring their strongest horses to carry corn and firewood, and if any horse could haul a large load and make it over the slope, it would be chosen as a breeding horse and given special care by its owner.
- Lũng Cẩm Cultural Village: This location was selected as the filming site for famous movies such as The Story of Pao and Quiet at the Bottom of the Abyss. The group will visit Pao’s house and take photos of seasonal flowers in what is considered the most beautiful space of the Rock Plateau.
- The Vương Family Mansion: Also known as the Hmong King’s Palace, during the Vietnam War, this place was a major supplier of opium to Indochina and the countries involved in the war in Vietnam. Here, the group will explore the art, history, and culture of the Vương family (the Hmong Kings) and learn about the Hmong people on the Rock Plateau.

Lũng Cú Flag Tower: The final destination of the day is the Lũng Cú Flag Tower – the northernmost point of Vietnam, a place everyone wishes to visit at least once in their life. Here, you’ll learn about the cultural and historical heritage of this rocky region and the process of building the flag tower, as well as the efforts of local ethnic minorities in preserving every inch of the borderland.

Boat Ride on Tu Sản Canyon – Nho Quế River: Take a boat ride along the Tu Sản Canyon – Nho Quế River. The Nho Quế River flows into Vietnam from the village of Séo Lủng, Lũng Cú Commune, Đồng Văn District, passes through the Tu Sản Canyon, and runs along Mã Pí Lèng Pass. When it reaches Mèo Vạc, it flows eastward into Cao Bằng Province before merging with the Gâm River. Tu Sản Canyon is considered the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia and lies within a geologically unique valley in Vietnam.

- 3:00 PM: Drop-off at the bus station or a location requested by guests in Hà Giang City.

- If the tour is canceled immediately after registration (more than 10 days in advance), 30% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- If the tour is canceled 7 days before departure, 50% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- If the tour is canceled 5 days before departure, 70% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- If the tour is canceled 2 days before departure, 100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
- In the case that the number of registered participants increases or decreases, both parties will work together to reach a mutual agreement and proceed with payment based on the actual number of participants, with the tour price adjusted accordingly to the group size.
- In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters or pandemics, both parties will allow the deposit to be carried forward, and the tour can be postponed to a more suitable time.
